Yikes! Has it really been over a year since my last post?  So much has happened in the past year, and looking back, I really wish I was able to document it.  I officially made my move to the big beautiful city of Chicago, got a great apartment, started a new job and met some fantastic, lifelong friends.  Although a big adjustment, I’m so happy I made the change and really am loving my new life here in Chicago.  So, what should I write about as I attempt to get back into my blog?  My interests continue to stay consistent.

Food

I always considered myself a foodie, but here in Chicago the bar has been raised and I wish every other city luck in competing with the best restaurant scene in America.

Travel

I haven’t done a lot of exploring outside of Chicago over the past year because there has been so much for me to absorb here. However, I’ve had some friends move to great cities recently and can sense an influx of bachelorette parties and weddings, so I’m going to do my best to document the best of the best in each place!

Fashion

What is old is new again. I’ve definitely found ways to shop in my closet since I’ve been here in Chicago, a great way to realize you have way too much clothing and getting key basics for each seasonal trend is more than enough.

Life

I’m 29 and still have plenty of things to tick of off my 30 before 30 list. But, what they tell you is true.  When you get close to 30, you just don’t care what anyone thinks anymore.  Live and let live.
